What was broken
Cloud-kitchen was losing evening orders to dropout at the menu screen. The old site felt slow and untrustworthy on mobile data, and the menu required 14 taps to order a single dish.
The Solution
What I shipped
Built a PWA with instant menu rendering, location-aware inventory, single-thumb checkout flow optimized for 3G connections, and a delightful "while you wait" animation that reduced perceived wait-time complaints.
